Automotive Rivets are permanent mechanical fasteners that are mostly used for supporting loads perpendicular to the axis of the shaft. They consist of a cylindrical shaft with a head on one end. During installations, these are either placed in a punched or drilled hole. Moreover, it is quite interesting that before welding techniques and bolted joints, metal frame buildings such as Eiffel Tower and Sydney harbor bridge were held together by riveting. In addition, Automotive Rivets are mainly used in applications wherein high strength and lightweight are the major concerns. They are also tested in different ways to ensure that they are ready to be delivered.
